The Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust is a charitable trust changing the lives of adults through literacy education. David has been working with them for almost 2 years on various web projects including the development of a student goals tracking platform. At the beginning of 2024, RYALT asked David to completely redesign and rebuild their website with a particular emphasis on the accessibility needs of their students and other users. This rebuild included complete redesign of content, creation of new forms for all user types, accessibility features such as audio and symbols for prospective students and a comprehensive donation management solution.

Project Brief
RYALT (adultliteracy.ac.nz) tasked us with a complete website overhaul to better serve their community and attract prospective students. We built a modern, accessible platform with features like audio descriptions and symbol-based navigation to cater to diverse learning needs. The site also includes a user-friendly content management system empowering RYALT to easily update information and engage with their audience.
Furthermore, we integrated a robust donation management platform, streamlining their fundraising efforts and providing donors with a seamless experience. This comprehensive rebuild ensures RYALT can effectively pursue its mission of adult literacy education while expanding its reach and impact.
